What this site provides

spothours.com publishes day-ahead wholesale electricity prices for several European bidding zones, together with an estimate of what those prices mean for a typical household once taxes and grid costs are added.

Prices are estimates

This is the most important thing on this page. The wholesale price we publish comes directly from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and is factual. The final consumer price we show is an estimate built by adding typical national values for VAT, energy taxes, and grid charges.

Your actual bill will differ. Grid charges vary by network operator and often by region. Supplier margins vary by contract. Some households qualify for reduced rates. We do not know your tariff, and unless you tell us your grid rate, we are showing you a national typical figure.

Use this site to decide when to run your dishwasher. Do not use it to make financial commitments, to trade energy, or as the basis of any contract.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that prices are accurate, current, or continuously available. Upstream data can be delayed, revised, or unavailable. Tax rules change, sometimes with little notice, and our figures may lag those changes.

Data attribution

Price data originates from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and is used in accordance with its terms. ENTSO-E does not endorse this site.
